After completing my undergraduate degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, I taught elementary and high school in both regular and special education. I went on to earn a Masters in Social Work (MSW) at Yeshiva University in New York, and worked extensively in both in-patient and out-patient settings.
Since then, I have become a licensed psychoanalytic pysychotherapist and psychoanalyst with (NYCPT) the New York Center for Psychoanalytic Training. I continue my studies with (IPI) the International Psychotherapy Institute, in Washington, DC where I write and present.
Why I might be the right therapist for you:
Psychotherapy is my passion; my life’s work. I’m a teacher, supervisor and clinician. Continued education and training is an important part of my practice.
Safety. I foster an atmosphere of safety and support so we can identify and understand the painful patterns and issues interfering with a more satisfying and fulfilling life.
Experience. I have been practicing individual and couple psychotherapy for over 20 years.
Location. My office is easy to get to – located right off LIE’s Exit 39 – 70 Glen Cove Road, Suite LL4, Roslyn Heights, NY 11577.
I belong to multiple memberships and associations, which allow me to not only have access to extensive resources and up-to-date clinical and research information but enable me to participate in sharing, learning and giving-back to a network of like-minded professionals.
